At 3:40 p.m. on September 23rd, the Department of College English (DCE) gathered the native English teachers of listening classes together in Liyun A312 and held a training session for them on how to use the “Management System of College English Learning”. Present at the training session were Mr. Xie Qingli, Vice Dean of the SFL, Ms. Li Lei, Director of the DCE, Ms. Cui Yanli and Ms. Wang Na, Vice Director of the DCE.

First of all, Mr. Xie Qingli, introduced some basic information of the “Management System of College English Learning”. Then, Ms. Li Lei explained in detail different functions of the learning system. From this training, the native English teachers learned that the system was a multifunctional and maneuverable platform for all the teachers and students, because it was convenient for them to select courses or make a course plan. For example, teachers could make a teaching plan, check students’ learning records and have an online quiz whenever it is necessary by using this system.

At the training session, the native English teachers also asked some questions, such as how to use the on-line resources of the library and how to make use of the monitoring system and so on.
