At 7:00 PM. on May 26th, Mr. Jack Merrington, one of the English native teachers from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, gave us an excellent lecture entitled “PRT, a transportation revolution?” in Liyun Building B201.

The lecture focused on an advanced technology called PRT (Personal Rapid Transit). Mr. Jack Merrington introduced this kind of high-tech product in detail to us, such as the development of PRT and the different views about PRT etc. The lecture, plus the short video clip about the PRT which has already been used in Britain’s Heathrow Airport, not only widened students’ horizons, but also showed them an amazing world of science.

Just as what Mr. Jack Merrington said, we couldn’t image we would own this kind of transportation before, but we already have gotten it. So living for today is what we should do!
