At 7:00 P.M. on March 30th of 2011, Mr. David Riddiford, a foreign teacher from the Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL), gave us a lecture, Australian Wildlife, in Liyun Building Room B201. In the lecture, Mr. Riddiford introduced the diverse and unique wildlife in Australia.
At the beginning, Mr. Riddiford briefly introduced the terrain and climate of Australia. Then, he referred to the unique wildlife of Australia, such as kangaroos, sharks, snakes, and box jellyfish, with the use of vivid and interesting photos and videos. He interpreted them not only in their basic features and living environment, but also in the way they live. All of these were real eye openers.
With the enthusiastic applause, the lecture ended. The lecture attracted both the teachers and students from different faculties. They said it was a great and informative lecture and they looked forward to the next wonderful lectures by FFL.
