At 7 p.m. on March 21st, Mr. Tim Musgrave and many movie fans spent their night watching the movie, Iron Lady.
As usual, Tim asked the students to choose their favorite movie from The Iron Lady, Flight, Argo and Bourne Legacy. Finally, The Iron Lady was played.
The Iron Lady was a biographical movie, which introduced Margaret Thatcher, who was the only woman Prime Minister in England. With the plot line of Margaret Thatcher’s senior life, the movie recalled her political life, including Prime Minister election, Falklands War and her resigning. It also showed Britain’s history of the last century.
This movie was criticised for uglifying the Prime Minister in a few scenes by portraying her as an old lady with senile dementia. Therefore, there were some arguments about the movie, which even caused the attention of the Lower Chamber. Some thought it was precise to create such a figure of Margaret Thatcher in the movie. However, the young people who don’t know her story very well, felt sorry to her experience.
The end of the movie made everyone in the class depressed. With the ending song, the students could not help applauding. On this Movie Night, the teacher and the students were enjoyable and left with happiness.
