演讲人: Mr. Martin Douglas Stannard

Mr. Martin Stannard has a First Class Honours degree from Middlesex University and a Masters degree in English and American Literature from University College London. He has been teaching at BNUZ since 2005. He is a widely published poet. His most recent books are Faith (Shadowtrain Books, 2010) and How To Live A Life (an ebook published by The Argotist Online, and available as a free download at http://www.lulu.com/product/ebook/how-to-live-a-life/11256238.) His hobbies include eating, sleeping and listening to as much music as possible.

People have been trying to answer the question "What is the meaning of life?" for a very long time. Martin thinks he might know one of the answers, and will help you find one of them too by showing us the importance of words, music, the imagination, and how cultural differences and similarities are part of the solution.
