演讲人：Mr. Sean McHugh

Mr. Sean McHugh is British and holds a philosophy bachelors, music masters and international studies diploma; he''s worked in construction industry management and taught in England, South Korea and Shandong China. He''s a keen writer tracing links between Indian mythology, aesthetics and ethics, has written and presented on musical tonality and is familiar with 1200 composers'' music; he has interests in cultural theory, postmodernism, education systems and the English language and gained independent travel experience in 86 countries including nine visits to India.

Using slides Mr. Sean McHugh will introduce Britain''s geography, nations, emblems, language, towns, weather, religion, monarchy, empire, politics, history, artists, film, newspapers, sport, food and pubs. He''ll then sketch some of his past occupations and interests in presenting a number of countries he has managed to visit in recent years, both near China and further afield, and the cultural sense that can be made of different major world regions; questions and comments welcome.
