1. Lecturer/Assistant or Associate Professor

Job descriptions: Applicants should possess expertise and experiences in teaching translation majors in tertiary institutions. Applicants who are able to teach courses in the following areas are preferred: Putonghua-English Interpreting and/or Chinese-English practical translation, and translation theory.

Requirements: Applicants with ample teaching experiences and a sound research

record may be considered as Associate Professor or above. Applicants with a good master’s degree and outstanding industrial experiences will be considered as lecturer.

2. Teaching Assistant in Applied Translation Studies

Job descriptions: Work duties include providing teaching and administrative

support for the Programme, and assisting in students’ activities and translation duties.

Requirements: Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree with good command of English and Chinese will also be considered.
