Estou na BNU-Z desde 2 de Setembro de 2011 e tenho-me sentido aqui muito bem.

Espero cumprir a minha missão com o maior sucesso: preparar uma licenciatura de língua e cultura portuguesas nesta Universidade e fazer da língua portuguesa uma língua amiga e familiar dos habitantes de Zhuhai e da China.

My academic background is related to the teaching of Portuguese Language, Literature and Culture: bachelor degree in the University of Lisbon; master in the University of Coimbra; doctorat in the University of Minho (Braga), just going after my leader teacher, Doctor VitorAguiar e Silva.

Prepared curricula and delivered lectures for courses in Portuguese literature, literary theory, European and Portuguese cultures, Lusophone literature, oral/traditional cultures and literatures, and Portuguese language.Reviewed final reports/dissertations as a member of the examining jury for students pursuing a Master-Level degree. Represented and coordinated the Portuguese Department, overseeing 11 teachers, 10 students in teacher training, and 200 students in initial formation. Organised cultural events, conferences, and expositions, and founded Nordest Forum, a local cultural association. Taught courses in reading, writing, and teaching Portuguese language at the Polytechnic Institute of São Tomé as part of the university collaboration as it is happening now, in BNUZ.
Specific Accomplishments:
· Started and coordinated the InstitutoPolitécnico de Bragança/ Escola Superior de Educação de Bragança (IPB/ESEB) student/teacher European international exchange programs on campus, specialising in Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, and Lingua study programs.
· Participated in discussions on curricula and tutored students at many European universities, including TrinityCollege inDublin, Ireland, Sorbonne inParis, France, andUniversidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
· Instituted new programs and activities to encourage general educational growth as 3-time Head of the Portuguese Department.
