On November 20th, the English Corner was held in the library on schedule. This time, the topic was “ Going On A Trip Together”. The overseas teachers who attended the activity were Ms. Dulene Cipriano, Mr. Sean McHugh, Mr. Leck Wall and Mr. Christopher Dockstader.
When it came to traveling, the overseas teachers seemed to have a lot of experiences to share with the students. Ms. Dulene Cipriano had been to many European countries, but she liked Ireland most for its pleasant and undisturbed environment. The medieval castles there, with poetical sentiment, were attractive to her. “There water is so pure and so sweet. People there are friendly indeed. I think I will travel to Ireland once again someday,” she said with joy.
Then, Mr. Leck Wall shared his own journey with the students around. “You know, I’ ve been to many different countries, but my favorite country is China” he explained, and what made him hooked were the Chinese food, Chinese architecture, Chinese customs etc. Especially, when visiting several provincial capital cities of China, he was always attracted by different local lifestyles. “ I hate invariable life,” he added.
Maybe, only when you’re on the way, could you really enjoy various sceneries as well as discover a different side of yourself.
Pack your bag, and let’s go on a trip together!
