A Lecture: Different Types of Humor

At 7 p.m. October 11th, Mr. Andrew Engler, the overseas teacher of the School of Foreign Languages, held a lecture named Different Types of Humor in Leyu C106.

This lecture was composed of three parts. First of all, Andrew introduced different types of humor, namely political jokes, dark jokes, toilet jokes, lame jokes and shaggy dog jokes. He performed vividly to explain these types of humor, and the classroom was filled with laughter.

Secondly, Andrew emphasized the importance of making proper jokes. He told the students that making jokes could deepen friendship and have positive effect on one’s health.

At last, Andrew showed students various ways to smile or laugh in the different occasions. The lecture ended with joy.
