On the evening of June 13th, the thirteenth movie night was held successfully in Liyun A107. This time, Mr. Gerard Brent chose the movie Troy, for the students.
The movie is directed by the famous director, Wolfgang Petersen. It lasts for three hours and mainly reflects the Troy War written in Homer''s Epic’s Iliad. The movie mainly told that the prince of Troy named Paris had a crush on Helen during the time he attended the feast in Sparta, and brought her to Troy, which led to a fight between Troy and Agamemnon lasting for ten years. During the war, there were many heroes devoting themselves to the country such as Hector, who created a magnificent and touching epic for that period.
After watching the movie, Mr. Gerard Brent and the students simply shared their views to each other. And it was the last Movie Night in this semester. Let’s expect more movies next semester!
