演讲人：Dr. Sadie Chandler

Dr. Sadie Chandler is an Untied States educated and trained Performance Studies artist/scholar.  Currently, she holds a position at Beijing Normal University - Zhuhai. Her research interests include: examining the adaptation and performance of literature, incorporating applied drama techniques to second language acquisition and intercultural understanding, as well as critically analyzing modern dramatic literature.

演讲内容简介：This is an interactive lecture that questions: how do artists’ representations of a literary work inform the meaning of the original text? Through examining four short performances of Charles Bukowski’s poem, Bluebird, Dr. Chandler explores the meaning of the original poem and literary devices employed by different artists to represent multiple interpretations.
